New
Year, New Resolutions, New EVERYTHNG!
Resolutions? Eat better and
exercise more . . . Read the Bible more . . . Increase prayer time . . . Change
that nagging habit. Habit? IsnÕt that what resolutions are all
about — changing a habit and sticking to it? With GodÕs help, we can all change!
This
newsletter is short for a reason.
WeÕre sending it to nearly everyone on the mailing list (thatÕs around
1700 households)! WeÕre doing it
to hopefully get updated mailing addresses and family statuses and also to give
everyone the opportunity to subscribe.
This could be a new habit for you:
keeping in touch with your Emmaus family and getting re-involved in this
wonderful ministry.
Many
of you read the newsletter online — thatÕs wonderful! BUT, it would be beneficial to you and
us to register (itÕs still free) with our computer representative, Kevin
Pancake, so we can have a more accurate count of who is keeping in touch. AND, special e-mails do get sent to the
e-mail list from time to time. To
register for the e-mail list, all you have to do is send an e-mail to pancake@bright.net
and ask to be put on the GSVE e-mail list. Our website address is www.gsvemmaus.org—check it out, there
are some new and exciting changes!
The
snail mail subscription renewal will be for the calendar year, 2005. Regardless of when you subscribe during
the year, your subscription will expire December of 2005. Cost for the annual subscription is
$5.00, and the deadline for subscribing is January 31, 2005.
We
are looking forward to another wonderful year and we want YOU to be
involved! Please stay in touch and
get involved—you WILL be blessed!

Leadership Training Session
Saturday, May 21st, 2005
8:00 a.m.— 4:00 p.m.
Trinity United Methodist Church
Join
us for an exciting, informative
day all about Emmaus!
Re-live some of your own weekend with fellowship, communion, lunch,
praise and prayer.
This
experience is open to anyone who has participated in an Emmaus Walk, Chrysalis
Flight, or Cursillo.
Want
to be involved in the leadership team in the future? You are strongly encouraged to attend this session. Sponsoring someone for the first or
fortieth time? This is an awesome
opportunity to learn your responsibilities.
Training
Session will pre-empt the monthly gathering.
Reservations
are not required, but encouraged; lunch is included — Contact Diana Hall at 740-335-4361 or
